Pours a slightly hazy amber color capped by an impressive three fingers of foam; nice retention and shards/spots of lacing.
An aromatic blend of juniper, sour wheat and salt permeates with hints of Bourbon and oak.
Sour wheat and salt tones forward, with the juniper emerging into the middle; after the swallow, hints of oak and Bourbon add to the flavor though the finish is not that different from the start
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation.
An interesting beer but more of a one-time sipper than something that I would enthusiastically embrace.
